Need I remind you Obama won a nobel peace prize?

You can win nobel prizes without truly deserving them. (Which I'm not saying he doesn't having not read all his books). All I'm saying is the two I have read were as boring as a machine that builds tunnels through rock.

Not really. He has to only appeal to a small group of judges not necessarily book readers as a whole- just like any award.

I suspect the theme and politics of his works contributed to his prize considering when it was given. Besides I'm not saying he is a bad writer (highly subjective) just I find him as boring as ****.

I think 30s through 50s were a bad era for literature in general to be honest.(obviously some exceptions)

Until I turned 30 I used to read almost every day for at least an hour or two. Classics, trash, quite a variety. As a kid I used to read all night long some nights.

I have difficulty focusing now though. I'd love to read again but like you I'm too distracted.

Boring machines are at their least boring when they are actively boring.

    That's not very exciting.

Apparently the Olympic Tongue Twister champion was arrested the other day.

I hope he gets a tough sentence...

Yesterday I read a classic novel by Ernest Hemingway while on my way to work, today I'm playing Candy Crush. My brain is confused.
