    And at who's expense..
He's good player, potential to be our best CM...
But we've a side playing well and is winning games, I like the lad and think an Emre Can on top form will only make us better, but I'm also old school in thinking, wait ain't broke don't fix!
All of the Middle 3 in our 4-3-3 have been playing great, Hendo's stats prove he's one of the best players in that position on current form, Gini is doing a great job defensively and in the attacking third and Lallana is a man possessed..
For now, I don't think Klopp needs to make that decision, Can is a long way from full fitness.. but when he is.. who do we drop/rotate?

It's a good question, I agree that we don't drop anyone while they are playing well. When we rotate I'd say Wijnaldum, I've never been convinced by Can as DM unlike some on here, I think he's too slow over the first few yards and doesn't close the space quicklly enough. So play him where he can be more expansive and affect the forward play winning the ball early and feeding the forwards.

A bit like how Germany played him towards the end of the Euro's, against France, further up the pitch, not a bad shout..
But right now, don't think Klopp needs to make any change..

I agree, change nothing at the moment Can has to play his way in by performing when given a chance.

simply put... it won't be shoe horning anyone.

Can can play where henderson is right now or he could play box to box like wijnaldum or lallana... and so could henderson.

There is an argument to be made that Can with his height and physical presence will be much more in need than wijnaludm when we start getting to the west broms and watford types.

the above posts show how wijnaldum has won many over after a fine early start as a CM in a three.

Wouldn't be surprised is if first start isn't against Spurs in the EFL cup...
Up until then he'll most likely get the odd 20mins at the end of games..
Unless of course there is an injury crisis or suspension.

Yeah he'll come on to get match fitness, we could do with an easy win again so that he can get 30 mins or more.

Didn't win me over, knew the lad was quality..
Without sounding "Jimmy'esque" I had seen a bit of before he even came to PL and thought he looked a player, and so far, what I've seen from him in a red shirt confirms it..
Also.. given the better quality of players we know have in the squad, those that are in the team know they need to perform week in week out otherwise they'll be dropped, Mings being a perfect example..
He can't go missing like he may have done for Newcastle.. he goes missing for a game or two here, he won't be starting again for a month+
Keep them on the their toes!
Win Win if you ask me!

If you have to shoe horn him in then he doesn't deserve a place.

I wasn't sure on Wijnaldum I thought he was more of a forward and didn't get where he would play in the team, with Klopp playing both him and Lallana in midfield it came as a surprise but it's working so great. It seems Klopp likes midfielders who can cover the ground quickly other than them being strong.

What I was sort of.. trying to get at.. right now, team is working, so no change, as far as I'm concerned.. but then again, I ain't Klopp.
Think Klopp likes Can and when he can get him into the side, he most likely will..
I just hope its not at the expense of someone thats actually playing well at the time!
Changes only on merit or need (suspension/injury)

yeah its fine will west brom set up to get corners, form 30% possession and smash in 3 goals and make you look stupid.

I think can will come in for his physical presence alone at some point.

theres playing well and there's playing well though. If klopp thinks he can cure a few problems at the back with it he will.

I consider him as a DM which is a specialist position and his age is very young for that.

He's confident and great defensively but his weakness is when he has to defend when retreating or tracking runners, he can lack discipline in his positioning too.

But he has years to develop, and he is very raw. What better manager to work under to develop? By the time he is 25 he could be our CM dominator.

Yeah once fit we could look at a game like WBA and maybe use the right player for the right game. That's a possibility, we also lose Mane and Matip for a while for ACON, this is a worry.

Plenty of room for Can in the squad, a simple case of rotation as and when is necessary.

IMO there is no such thing as a best 11 anymore.....................any team needs a best 16 or 18 these days to compete

If we look at can's best games last year v wijnaldum I think we can see a reaosn why he would come in.

If he is fit enough.. that will take a couple weeks.

Lallana is playing virtually as a forward at times and the 4 of them are doing the closing down fast and hard.

    Can could do this?

You don't suddenly change a winning team. To make him happy bench him and bring him on the second half. It is a matter of time, his time will come due to injury or suspension.
