As rated by people who understand football? Or the media? Hernandez is the better finisher out of him and Carroll..And Suarez is the more complete forward than Rooney <run> Rooney is vastly over-hyped.
Suarez will cause multiple problems for the opposition. Its extremely hard to mark a player that doesn't stay in the one place long enough to mark. Hernandez has to add more variety to his overall play or he will become predictable, and becoming predictable is music to a defenders ears, they thrive on it.
They had a name for people like Hernandez in school...Goal hangers...Booooooo! Think he will still bang them in though, but I have Rooney and Saurez in my FL team.
You couldn't have Suarez and Rooney in the same team, they would fall over each others feet ie make the same runs.
Careful KPR. You'be be accused of contradicting yourself - "Suarez is Rooney with skill and intelligence". Ergo, he won't make the same runs.
No I'm not contradicting myself. I'm 100% sure that the two in the one side would never work. Both would drop off and there would be nobody in the penalty area.
You actually said they'd make the same runs, not that they'd both drop off. Not being pedantic or anything, just saying..............
Lads, play nicely...Watching Rooney at times, you do wonder if he's a forward or a sweeper. Don't think you'd see Suarez making those runs to support Jamie. Saying that if you want someone who makes loads of quality runs, Marcus Trescothick
-------Mid---Mid Suarez--Rooney--Nani ------Hernandez Personally I think you'd be a lot better off with Suarez than Valencia or Young. but you're right, you do have a lot of players in that position. Just not as good as Suarez except maybe Nani
Saying that if you want someone who makes loads of quality runs, Marcus Trescothick -------------------------- Usain Bolt?? On topic I think they're both going to be a handful but in different ways with Suarez orchestrating a lot more but Hernandez poaching more goals. Hernandez hasn't yet proven the ability to be the big game player although he seems like the kind of lad who could with more experience but Suarez is definately there already (mighty impressive in the Copa America). I agree that Suarez will set up more and possibly score a few less but I really do think he can be the catalyst for great things at LFC over the next few years. Bring it on.....beware Fergie...King Kenny is back
Both will become stars. hernendez will be the torres of old and suarez can turn out like alot of players, decently fast and strong very skillful and good finisher. they both have the potential to be two of the best
Dissagree valencia would go much better in that line up for the fact that he acctually crossers. suarez and nani both cut inside and score and although nani gets a ton of asissts as does suarez they need someone who will hug the toucheline and cross it in every now and then, like your downing. not enougth width with suarez and nani
Suarez is the better footballer obviously, but Hernandez will get more goals through a season. Ideal strike partnership. Suarez stepped up in the coppa america + world cup, top player, i think they should both get 20 league goals a season each. South american strikers Herndandez, Suarez, Aguero, Tevez, can't think of a Continental strike force in the premier league that can match that. Europe - RVP, Rooney, ? Africa - Drogba, ?
Brilliant assesment. Hernandez will definitely be the Torres of old. He does play on the shoulder of the last defender. He has possibly got a good foil in Rooney creating the space for him. However there is one problem. He has to learn to switch feet when forced onto his weaker foot. He as of yet has been forced onto his weaker side. Defenders will attempt to do so. Lets see how he copes. If he can do a Torres and do it without much trouble, he will continue to score goals. As for Suarez, he's a conductor in chief,an orchestrator, he will create chances for those around him. He will also contribute his fair share of goals too. I also agree with the earlier sentiment...Watch out Fergie...Liverpool are back and will destroy anything that stands in their way.
South american XI Cesar Alves Silva Coates ? Ganso Mascherano Lucas Neymar Aguero Messi Can anyone think of a world class South american left back? thanks
