How many among the travelling City fans were really supporting Liverpool? On the TV I saw hands going up in celebration in the City seats when Liverpool scored.

I take your point, although its worth noting that the reporters scoring the games for the HDM aren't neutrals.

True, two are fans and act like PR agents for the game, the other is a dispassionate Sunderland fan.

There was a few ' incidents ' near me on Saturday.

Some Neanderthal looking berk got a bit handy with a couple of studenty looking lads because they wouldn't sit down.

He reverted to calling them bell ends, threatened to fill them in after the game and physically grabbed hold of one of them. To be fair to them they just laughed at him and told him they had to stand because everyone in front of them was standing, not that he cared.

He eventually got them to sit down due to the level of aggression he was showing, I was in the row in front of them, just to the left and was definitely blocking his view. ****ing BA Baracus never asked me to sit down though, he knew not to take liberties with Carmine.

    Lame assed mother ****er.

Another , and far more pleasing, incident was when on the of the bin dipping stewards got all handy with a young lad he was ejecting. He was being far too heavy handed, pushing and shoving.

Didn't expect a more seasoned campaigner from the city ranks to take offence and get him in a head lock and rag him about. For the record I never saw the head lock( my son did) but did see him lose his arse whilst being ragged.

Old Bill got involved and from what I could gather thought the steward was being a bit of a tit and left it at that.

The aforementioned season campaigner is a good mate, I was four seats along from him, you should have popped along to say hello. The young lad they were ejecting was the kid who let off the flare when we scored.

A fan I knew who was there home and away all during the Dolan years, a handy lad most wouldn't want to tangle with but not a football hooligan type, and who tragically died suddenly at the age of 50 a couple of days after we beat Man City, took his grandson to Old Trafford. At half time some officious head steward marchec up the aisleway and pushed his grandson out of the way as they made their way back to their seats. As the steward came back down he informed him if he touched his grandson there would be trouble. The steward asked in a rather bellicose tone if he was threatening him. No, he replied, just telling you if you touch him again I will splatter you all over the stand.
The steward looked at him and retreated, deciding discretion was the better part of valour, to the amusement of those all around including other stewards.

The "atmosphere" at Anfield has been exaggerated by the media for years.

Looking at pix of game on page 33 in paper, specially the ones where Liverpool score their third.
Group of High Jinks grinning happily and getting the old phone cams out.
Hope they're not our new owners.
What has happened to our support?

Pretty sure they threw away their flag after getting mocked by the Arsenal fans the other week.

Good. Don't want any people in the KC demonstrating any passion for the club, do we?

You mean to say that sheepishly putting away your banner because the away fans are taking the piss isn't showing passion!?
