With the rules on holding in the box finally being upheld by PL officials this season, there already appears to be a correlation between the sides with yard dog CB's who've been getting away with it for years struggling early on this campaign. The likes of Huth and Shawcross spring to mind. Leicester shipping 3 from set pieces on Saturday just wouldn't have happened last season. Stoke being winless and next to bottom with a -11 GD (the worst in the league) surely tells it's own story?
I worry a little for Jose Fonte. The master of the innocuous looking late lunge has had two pens awarded against him already this season. Though the one against Arsenal was a classic case of the Big Club Bias that supposedly does not exist at places like The Emirates.
