    Arnold Palmer has passed away....another legend. Gang of three with Nicklaus and Player....may you bless the 19th hole in heaven...

    A true legend, I would say Palmer was responsible for making golf accessible to millions instead of privileged few. RIP Arnie.

    RIP - not into golf (apart from the Ryder Cup) but as mentioned him Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player were all household names in their day.

    Heard the name before and knew he played golf. Thats all i know of him.

    RIP Arnie. One of golf's greatest. Ever.

    The Yanks will use this at the weekend the same way Europe did when Seve died.

    The Ryder Cup is going to be all about Annie now.

    Yep they will be well up for it now so should be a hell of a weekend - it cannot be better than the last one or can it? Hols booked in on Friday and Monday. West Brom on Saturday. Fridge being emptied for beer space :emoticon-0116-evilg

    Spot on Blunham, This will definitely give the Americans that bit extra......just hope it inspires the Europeans as well. Arnie was a worldwide golf Legend, who happened to be American.
