Absolutely. Good as Lalla's form has been (and Lovren's) neither of them are automatic for their places. Clyne is.
Not sure what your evidence is for that. We had a fine right back, way back when, called Chris Lawler who some thought 'dumb' because he was quiet.
You ever seen him interviewed or involved in the various activities on LFCTV? He's about as far away from being a captain as I can imagine. Yes he's a guaranteed starter, but no way will he be a captain. That's my opinion only of course.
We all have our opinion but Carra's is the one I'll go with.. He said, he (Hendo) was burdened with the arm band.. taking it over from Gerrard.. But he's grown into it and now can't see anyone in the current team that should have it over Hendo.. If a club legend thinks Hendo is the man for the job, then who are we to disagree? He's my skipper and I for one ain't looking to replace him!
He's behind Walker in the pecking order so not sure he can be classed as a regular international. I don't think full backs see the game as well as a centre back or goalkeeper can from their positions. I'd be incredibly surprised if Clyne was ever appointed as Liverpool captain, I think there's qutie a lot of players that would be ahead of him in the pecking order.
If anyone will be a new skipper then surely it's Matip? Solid, dependable, likely to play every game asks above all else, ****ing quality!

The next captain isn't at the club. We won't need another one for at least 4-5 years as hendo is captain. If he had to go and be replaced right now by someone in squad then Lallana wouldn't be awful choice. Captained saints for a long time other than that, no real leaders stand out at the moment.
Lallana with respect looked lost in europa league final. Its all nice right now but i won't forget that final in a hurry and the lack of bottle shown by some.
