The guys finally shaken off his injury, playing well, doing a job for his team, a good one and we want to replace him.. Come on guys, back your team AND skipper! He's not Rooney FFS
Exactly. After the results we've had against top teams so far we all say how important it is we do well against the "lesser" sides like Hull. Then, when we beat them we're back to the "it's only Hull" stuff. Obviously we'd be daft to get carried away by it, but it's good to see us avoid the type of banana skin we usually fall flat on our faces with. The same warning applies to the next game, and the next. We just have to keep going, show the same attitude in every game no matter who the opponent, then see where we are in a few months time.
Yesterday wasn't the type of game we'd lose. Since klopp arrived think he's only lost 1 home game. It's not at home against the lesser sides we struggle, it's away. Burnley, this game against Swansea, this will be the true test. If we can beat them then it'll show us more than the hull result.
Away form it reckon will be key. We could have 2 away games on trot one against top 4 contender next against relegation candidate. If we won the first say, just hope we go into next same mentality. That for me will see where we really are at as most teams in the league expect something from their home games
Not realy lol. I said if we had 2 way games on trot and having same mentality for both games. If first one being harder and wining ie top 4 team getting complacent for 2nd one. Good try though
On the trot? Must have missed the hull game I'm going to start calling you Diego or treble soon. Read what you want and take it out of context lol.
Dif mentality when home game in between away games though isn't it as the 3pts at home softens the blow of any cock up away from home. 2 away games on trot away from home is a better indicator of mentality than having home game in between. Esp if at opposite ends of table and win the harder game first.
Why Clyne? I can't say I've ever thought of him being captain material or anything from him that suggests he might be captain one day.
Get your point mate. But I could have said same for Henderson. Our new keeper a shout? I know some teams it's the case and yes it sadly makes them undroppable at times but no more so than captains on the pitch and not in goal.
Clyne seems like he has very little personality off the field, and not much on it tbh. He'd be way down the list for me.
Regular international who doesn't (nominally) play in the attack and should be able to see the game in front of him.
