I appreciate that, Commie. I do have a serious side. I don't often engage in chat on the Spurs board, but when I do, I like to debate the serious stuff. I'm proud of the Spurs board, because I think we have an extremely well balanced bunch. Those that say we're deluded are wrong and they just don't get it. Most of them will base their views on what I say when I'm in clown mode, which is hardly representative. I think if any of us were to sit down over a few beers, we'd find more in common than not, and we'd probably all get on fine. By the way, the reason I'm posting late is because I'm not long back from a gig. It was tough tonight - a Conservative Club. We have a working men's club tomorrow night.
Spurs are a bogey team for us. But they are not alone in that, that list is long. But ha'way getting dry humped at Sid James Park of a relegated club.
Hope they dont throw tomatoes at you. Its just words on a forum mate. I dont dislike anyone really. Even Spudcock, its just a front. You drive careful now in your rustbucket
It's hardly that, Commie! But I appreciate your sentiments. We've been breaking in a new vocalist. Tonight is only his second full gig. Yesterday was his first. You'd think it would be easy getting up in front of a rock band and singing a few songs, but it's not. He's doing well, though. I'm looking forward to tonight.
Where you playing tonight, mate? I might pop along for a quick bottle of bubbly. Won't stop for long as I have a fairly busy night.
Relegation fodder/ mid table mediocrity... No real difference. Apart from relegation fodder fight for their lives. (Fisherman eaten by shark gif would normally be inserted here)
Let's see how you do when you play someone half decent Gif is probably in for repair or you're too smacked off your face to coordinate brain function
Liverpool had the toughest start and have swept teams aside. Spurs got VERY lucky to get a point vs Liverpool. Other than Liverpool, Spurs haven't played anyone decent (maybe could include Everton?). Spurs struggle against the big teams. Who they playing in the next few games? cba to look. Liverpool are just sweeping sides away at ease, the bigger the better. "The Harder they come" springs to mind... Great film. Great soundtrack too.
They did and were played off the park only to luckily scrape a point, i know i know "what game is he on about? theyve scraped all their points so far"
Liverpool have had a very good start to the season. Spurs have clocked up some points, but the real test will come when they start playing decent opposition. At this point, the Pool lads must be confident that they are going to see @Hoddle Is A God @Spurlock and @NowsufferinginSpain having to carry the signature pics of shame ?
Can't we put the Burnley result to one side now Stan? Tbh a loss to Watford should be enough for Utd fans not to keep mentioning it!
