We didn't play well but then again Liverpool were fantastic.
It matters more how we play against teams outside the top 8

I think the transfer window circumstances were really poor, which left us having to get bodies in who would be willing but not necessarily perfect. I think you are right to defend Keane, it was not his doing, but I am sure he will give it 100% no matter where he is asked to play.

This is not a time for folk to criticise players or the manager, as they are simply a part of a clusterfuck they have no real control of - players could blame the manager and him them - but that won't happen as they know the score.

I would have hoped long standing supporters of club and football would too. Phelan can argue he is saving players for the winnables - I hope he is.

This terrible uncertainty is down to the Allam family, no one else; it does make me laugh that the two noticeable posters I have seen rant against MP are Chazz and Happy Tiger, the two biggest Allam Bumboys to grace these threads.

Today was inevitable, we should move on and hope the club does too.

Hull City caretaker-manager Mike Phelan says there is "no shame" in his team's past two defeats, after Liverpool's 5-1 win at Anfield follows last week's 4-1 loss to Arsenal.

Yes there is you twat,2 games how many shots?,2 goals for and 9 against and there is no shame, wake up muppet.

Losing is one thing, losing with a clue from the kick off is entirely a different thing.

You might think we deserve and should expect to lose to Liverpool. I do not.

We had better players for todays game sitting on the bench. That's Phelans fault.

    you are deranged son.
If you think that Elmos sending off was Phelans fault, you are off your ****ing head man.
with 1 man down, the most we could expect was a draw.

I can't believe I am reading some of this ****.

We lost to a better team, with ten men and two penalties.

(Do you think Leicester and Chelsea are whining this badly?)

Bit of perspective the current premier league champions lost 4-1 today and Chelsea currently 3-0 down at half time! Two defeats against top top teams with 10 men for the majority. Oh yeah plus a win away at a bogey team! Bring on the Chelski!!!!

Elmo's sending off was very convenient in glossing over the glaring errors and bad decision making.

Even with Elmo on, we'd have lost.

Putting Huddz in, when he was clearly going to get run rings round was a mistake. Big Tom's a good player in the right game, today was never, ever, going to be that game.

Defending with 9 men and hitting them on the break? Brilliant plan that. Shocked it never worked.

Hoofing the ball up to Hernandez...oh wait, you think the players decided to do that on their own? Well that explains it.
