yes, why cant we remain in league 2? no promotions our only hope is the Johnsons Paint Trophy! YAY not much chance of relegation. havent you just described the SFL????????
Nothing wrong in losing to the big teams but it is a bit worrying with the amount of goals we're shipping. As others have said though, get Chelsea out the way and our real season begins. 7 points in the bag already and with the likes of Stoke & Sunderland really struggling, we're looking ok for now. I just hope we see us playing to win against the mid-lower teams.
That's not the thing to worry about. If we try and depend on goal difference like last time we'll probably go down anyway.
I hate to piss on your bonfire Chazz... but I don't think you can sack someone that is not in the job.... Derrrrrr.... !!!... keep up darling..
Lets hope he persuades them he can turn it around as he did at LCFC. And then takes them down to 3rd tier.
i live in the hope that someone can turn our team into one that can hold its own at this level. relegation, unless perhaps financially, i see as no disaster. getting suicidal at the results of three games against three of the country's top teams when we've played half the pitch time with 10 men is a weak reaction. there are 30 games left, many against far poorer teams than those we've lost to.
If Phelan was responsible for the first few games where he had no decisions to make, he's definitely responsible for the last few where he has. How anyone can say he's still up to the job is beyond me. His selections and his tactics are ****e. We need the club sold and a proper manager in ASAP. You can shove your dusting wor selves down and go again up your arses. This is all we'll get if this continues.
They're in that mess because they **** up games like they had today. The season we got relegated last, we drew at Arsenal, City and beat Liverpool at home but messed up in games against the likes of Burnley and West Brom which ultimately cost us. We normally bemoan our fortunes against the teams around us rather than the top 6. We got points on the board in the first 4 games to take the pressure off this run of games we're in currently and I feel the games through October to mid December will have a say in how our season turns out. Nobody realistically expects anything against Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea but dropping points against teams around us will make the task of survival much more difficult. Defeats are never nice to take but sometimes you just have to take them in context and move on.
We'll have a better idea about the team by the end of November. Hopefully the heads can stay up and we can collect the points we need in that run of games.

Take no offence when I tell you to go **** yourself, you hysterical panty wetter. we have lost a game to a side thats been in ECL from the start of it. we are in 12th position... I bet if someone asked you if you want to be in 12th at this point of the season, youd shag them for that, male/female doesnt matter....... wring your panties out sonny.
