Not great and not a disaster imo, although where winless I don't think we've played bad at all!! He's had to mix and match his teams and we've still been ok. I think he will get it right I've got every faith.
pretty much the same as Smithy.....lets hope his league record of 4 defeats and 1 draw is turned around very quick or the fans with zero tolerance will be after him.
Enigmatic. Some days I think he's a genius. Some days I think he hasn't got a clue. I hope if things aren't looking great in a couple of months that Ellis' trigger finger doesn't get itchy again. I think we need to give this one time.
We can't keep getting rid of our managers if things don't work straight away. Moyes will be fine for us he is a good manager and must be Given time
Agreed. But your lot had stability and needed someone to make an impact straight away. We're in a constantly rocking boat and need someone to bring some stability. Its seems instant impact isn't Moyes' forte, bringing stability maybe is.
He's done well with what has been available to him, which was very little at the start of the season. We all know the squad depth is piss poor but I'm not going to blame him for that, despite the lack of a decent second striker being infuriating. His signings look good to me, Bod seems rusty but that's fair enough and he's been just about good enough so far, McNair's brace every game will be very useful.
Agree wholeheartedly with the comments on here he needs time. I did not like Everton's football while he was there for some reason but cannot put my finger on it. When he came to us I thought he is exactly what we need in our situation and still believe that now. Most of his transfer activity involved removing deadwood and young players coming into the club and that, imo is exactly why he needs time. I do think he will get it right he just needs some PR training and a few transfer windows.
I have to say he hasn't impressed me, and I was delighted with the appointment. As a few have said though, he needs time and as of now I'm still fully behind him, big few weeks coming up though.
TBF to the bloke he was dealt a **** hand, half the first team out injured, some long term, not much money or time to do wonders in the transfer market either. Shipped out a lot of deadwood and brought in some decent players, jury is still out on some of them mind. Resolved the Kone dispute, which i think everyone is chuffed about? On the pitch? i'll judge him later due to the fact he hasn't exactly had a fully fit squad to pick his teams from. I still don't believe we've seen anywhere near his preferred starting 11.
Disappointing, yes it's early but he instills absolutely zero belief in me and looks a broken man. As ever when feeling negative about the club I'd be over joyed to be wrong and truly hope he turns it around.
Difficult one for me. He doesn't exactly inspire me/fill me with confidence. Doesn't look like he's got a plan at times. However, remember what he's been left to deal with, shoestring budget, half a pre-season and loads of injuries. I'll judge after 3/4 months.
Have to remember we've played Man City, Spurs and Everton who nobody has beaten yet. As I say, I'll review him after stoke as we've some games now we can pick points from.
