We have another thread for "ginger headed players". This one is about interest from other clubs in our players in the January window. Ffs YOU started this thread Sterling. Is it TOO much to ask to keep these threads on topic. The "New Owners" thread, which surely is of massive interest to all of us, has totally degenerated into pages and pages of idiotic posts about liver and kidneys, and Australia. Wtf do those have to do with New Owners!!!! Time for a responsible Moderator to step in and stop this crap...and not contribute to it.
I have to say I agree. It's not funny when two threads perpetuate the same joke... Which is past it's best about a page ago.
Why do all threads have to stay on topic? As long as it doesn't impede the main point it's fine. Not like the computer games thread that was ruined by techno-tards that I'm definitely not bitter about.
When you have another thread just opened on this board discussing "ginger headed players" why did you (and others) choose to sidetrack YOUR OWN interesting thread to an irrelevancy on the colour of players hair, thus clearly "impeding the main point". Moreover nobody expects every contribution on a thread to be strictly on topic. Its when the topic of a thread, such as the For Sale thread, becomes totally lost in pages of unfunny drivel on completely unrelated issues, that people get annoyed. Is that SO HARD to comprehend??? And where are the Moderators in all this. Isn't that an important part of their job description???
Getting back to the real topic of this thread, my earlier post forgot to include Odubajo (not the colour of his hair). While January will almost certainly be too early for him to be the object of interest of other clubs, over the next year I believe he will become one of our most highly valued and valuable players. If he continues to improve and display the form he showed in the second half of last season, it would not be unreasonable to see him in consideration for national selection and a valuation approaching 15-20 mill. However that is all contingent on him making a full recovery from a serious injury.
They express their annoyance directly on the threads for all to see. I'm not in the business of keeping lists. But there are multiple expressions of frustration at the diversion of such threads as the New Signings and New Owners threads into literally pages and pages of completely off-topic posts. I'm sure you've seen them.
I have seen some, I don't think there are many tbh ....... this is a 2 page thread with half a dozen or so O/T posts on it. In truth, I think the thread subject is a bit banal and as such the O/T posts soon started, I see your ire if you've been away a week or so and go to an ''interesting thread'' and find it full of bollox, in this case though ..... it's 2 pages mate?
Fair enough. But my point was there was already another thread on Clucas and ginger headed players which was quite active. This thread was clearly totally different. So why not use the other thread to discuss gingers. I agree with you....not a big deal...but the other threads I mentioned were more blatant.
On reflection, I can recall three red-haired women I've been involved with. A guy who worked for me, in describing the last one, summed them all up. World War Three in Knickers...
