    Save the abuse for the Mackems on derby day. ;)

    It's just common manners not to completely rubbish a person's opinion and insult them, offering a differing opinion that you feel proves them wrong should surely be enough. We're trying to keep it friendly here, most of us are strangers but that doesn't mean we can't be patient with eachother and talk things through reasonably like adults.

    Life would be more exciting if we all went around hitting eachother with foam mallets but that doesn't make it right. <ok>

    To be honest I'm fine with it. I'll always call someone on it when they're being a bellend like Kid Canary but really, I won't lose too much sleep. Bit long in the tooth to care! He sees little difference in Carroll/Ba, I see a gaping chasm. That's football and opinions. As I say its probably a generational thing as much as anything else. He has amused me anyway with the irony of suggesting I'm dumb. What do they say about those who resort to insults in a debate?
