    It's mind boggling even trying to come up with a scenario where that might have appeared even a vaguely 'sensible' shout.

    Welcome to The Sensible Party.

    Finally voting is fragmented between more parties than ever before. This is because voters are unhappy with the major parties due to their unwillingness to identify with large numbers of people. It is only when the British public is consulted as a whole over specific policies that sensible policies are supported. When it is left to political parties there are only narrow minded policies supported by a minority.

    As Tobes has mentined, Peter has also made the claim that the Sensible Party blog has nothing to do with him or 'his' Sensible Party.

    However this means that Peter decided to create his own political party, call it the Sensible Party without checking if that name had any other negative associations or had been used before (such as in a Monty Python sketch). And created a party with no policies, no support and no clear aims or objectives!

    The other option is that since the blog seems to share the same level of sensibleness to Peter's own posting, it is in fact his own blog and a precursor to him creating the political party - as it seems ludicrous that someone would create their own party without any policies!
