I had Lobster and sweetcorn soup last weekend home made with an entire lobster and creamed corn.
Probably the best soup I have ever had .
Anyone else enjoy a nice steaming hot bowl of soup to kick off the weekend?

I had a spam and cockles soup round at Aldo's last week. Think he's cooking chips on toast for us on Sunday for the big game.

Agreed. At the top of the list of foods catering staff say you should never order in a restaurant as the pot warms up and cools down day after day without being cleaned and they just throw a bit more water in if it looks a bit thick.

Soup of the Day is more likely to be soup of the week.

The cream of celery was of a poor standard in all truth, I now have buyer's remorse and wish I had opted for the spicy tomato and lentil.

FFS you bought cream or celery soup when you knew fine well you could have had spicy tomato and lentil?? I'm glad the celery soup was ****e, it is what you deserve, under no circumstances should celery soup be chosen instead of spicy tomato and lentil. That just isn't normal.
