He whinged about folk whinging about SB and he's now whinging about MP simply because he can and ge knows it annoys some posters. It's a circular whinge, althoufh he does have a point in there somewhere.
Judged by his tone on Talk Sport this morning, I wouldn't be surprised if he said '**** you' I'm off.. maybe he needs the gig, but his comments this morning were 'this time last week, i'd read the offer met with the owners and everything was very positive, but now I have heard nothing form them in a a week!!!''... Your a ****ing **** Allam you don't deserve to breathe the ****ing air in Hull...
Typical Allam. How many times have we seen this kind of situation. They make promises and break them minutes later. It's what they do. Yet still they have some defenders.
He won't walk! He's still an unproven manager, he's still in the PL. The only job he'd get is in the lower leagues maybe, but he'd still be unproven.
Whooooaaa! And if Phelan said 'I'm off' where is he going to go too ? Is another club offering him a job ? You say 'maybe he needs the gig', I would have thought that managers jobs at EPL clubs are not ten a penny and are rather sought after. I suppose he would be on a bit more then minimum wage at City which is a pointer as too why he didn't walk with Bruce but shall we look at both sides of the argument for a change ? Mike Phelan has never been a manager before therefore he is untried. On probation even. Good pedigree and he has worked with the best without ever taking the reigns himself. Although his CV as an assistant is impressive. As a manager ??? unknown. A gamble even. He has got off to an impressive start under very difficult circumstances. So on that evidence he deserves a crack at the job and he deserves to know how long his probationary period is going to be. But the club is in the process of being sold. Who know who the next owners will want as manager ? If he were to leave this afternoon I for one would be hard pushed to name a manager who I would want at Hull City, Steve Bruce perhaps ? I don't think this issue is as big as the media and some supporters are making out to be. Phelan will be well rewarded and an offer has been made. If he hasn't accepted it that is down to him and his personal requirments. We don't know what they are and for all we know they might be totally excessive, we simply do not know. How many people on here were pushing for Phelan to be promoted in front of Bruce this time last year ? I don't remember any.
Ryan Giggs has far less experience than the 12 years MP spent as Ferguson's assistant. Yet he keeps being touted for managerial posts, Swansea being the latest one.
He's just a name! It's like Mark Hateley, Tony Adams, Gary Neville & Paul Merson off the top of my head. Yes he's had a lot of experience, but none in management, bar the last few games after Moyes was sacked.
