I think we should send the gunboats over to teach them a lesson.

It's the traditional British way of dealing with Johnny Foreigner when he steps out of line.

Theresa May says "Brexit means Brexit"
Jeremy Corbyn says "I want to reach out to MPs and call again on us to unite" means "deselect any MP who opposes me"
Never trust a left wing looney

You seem incapable of analysing the content. This is why you will never be able to understand anything.

That's right Pete we can't pick the bones out a Tory rag's one eyed portrayal of 'news'. We're all thick as pigshit and you're the supreme being <doh>

That's why you're so much more successful in life than we are.......oh hang on.....

I guess the only thing that annoys me about the remain camp is the constant whinging, moaning and naysaying about everything.
They act like a manic depressive C3P0.
Tobes on referendum night was a sight to behold, and that was just in text form.
I seriously thought he was going to top himself.
Was shocking to me because Tobes is normally a pretty together guy.
All this crap about second referendums etc etc.
Yes democracy is great and is part of the reason I voted out, but at the same time you cannot hold a referendum for every single damned policy or aspect of the Trade agreement, talk about bogged down in bureaucracy. We need to trust in our government, and if we do not, then at the first opportunity, we vote them out.
I didn't vote Tory, I voted Labour, despite not being a huge Milliband fan. I will (grudgingly) vote for Corbyn's Labour to at the next GE (if he is still there) as well.

I was rat arsed in fairness.

I was actually abroad (in the EU) that night, and had ordered a nice bottle of bubbly to take back to the room after seeing on my phone that Farage had virtually admitted defeat after the polls had shut. So I intended watching the result come in on the box and toasting it. Then it went a bit pear.....

If you knew what I did for a living you'd maybe understand my perspective - and no I'm not telling you :emoticon-0109-kiss:

I was just listening to Allister Heath.
With the Remoaners panicking about "passporting", he explained that there's several alternatives: "equivalence". the EU is moving to a system where third party countries could have a form of "passporting" in the next couple of years, banks are setting up small offices in Ireland and Luxembourg with 20-50 employees and these offices may mean that the banks can stay in London with nearly all of their staff and still conduct business via the EEA.

Only the 'hard Brexit' favoured by many Tories wouldn't see us part of the EEA daft lad.

I didn't realise the French born deputy editor of the Telegraph had so much influence on passporting policy.

Mate, I can't really be arsed wasting any mental effort deconstructing nonsense from The Express. I could post a heap of links to articles from The Guardian, The Economist and The FT illustrating contrary viewpoints, but what would be the point? Suffice to say that not one credible voice from the world of economics agrees with you that the referendum result has strengthened our negotiating position with our neighbours.

    Exactly.

But, of course, that well known philanthropist and all round humanist, Desmond, wouldn't possibly carry out a far right wing agenda!

True, just not about politics, the EU and seemingly accountancy, certainly not figures - unless you subscribe to the view that percentages aren't relevant.
