Same here, I'd sort myself out with a yacht and holiday homes and a huge garage of cars first but then when I already had two Lambos I'd probably start on the sanctuaries rather than buy a third for no particular reason. Buying a club could be interesting, I'd pick some lower league side that I liked and do it that way, owning a top side would be more trouble than it's worth I reckon.
I don't really like football enough to let it be that much a part of my life, I like it, but I wouldn't devote too much of my time to it. I'd rather own a load of bars, or restaurants, they're way more interesting than paying some dickhead £30k a week to show us pictures of his Ferrari on Instagram. I don't like how they're all divas, so as owner, I'd probably have them doing things that would be deemed a violation of their human rights.
If I was to buy a football team I would probably buy my local one. Try and get Annfield Plain up a few divisions and tart up their ground a bit and actually put down some concrete on their car park. Also pay off the local residents on the nearby housing estate who prevented them putting any floodlights up. Even if I was Arab rich I still wouldnt buy Sunderland.
You'd only have Monty knocking on your door, abusing you for not buying Ronaldo and not getting Fergie in to manage the team.
Tinned food I find myself eating more and more food out of tins nowadays, I'm not having a hard time financially, but the prep is so much easier. I eat tuna, all the time, I can eat John West, but prefer the Albacore stuff, it's a bit more expensive but worth it in my view. Then I have Mackerel, Sardines, this sort of thing I can just never, ever cook in my house, not ever, it'd just stink, but they're good, taste ok, healthy fats and protein but I won't bore you with that. What else is good from a tin? I know stuff like Spam is the devil and a lot of tinned food like Corned beef is bare salt, but it can't all be that bad... On another note, some of it can be very bad... please log in to view this image
I like those tins of beans where you get burgers and sausage and mushrooms etc in them. please log in to view this image
I had a tin of that when I went camping, not as bad as you'd imagine, although about as nutritious as a cat **** Falafel.
Tinned tomato is better for you than fresh. Not only does it retain all the nutrients of fresh, but the heating process to preserve tinned tomato makes it release lycopene which helps prevent cancer.
I eat a lot of tinned tomatoes mate, some folk say them bags of frozen veg and berries is better than fresh for you as well.
I don't know if it's better for you but I believe that it doesn't lose many nutrients, if any, from being frozen. You can get a lot more for your money too eh.
I wish my wife would go for this stuff, she buys a whole watermelon, eats a quarter and the rest gets binned. She doesn't like to pay £2 for a small tub (about as much as a quarter of a melon) of it, so she spends £3 for a whole one to throw most of it away. She's really clever like that.
Because of that very reason, and because i am ****ing skint, our fridge is constantly empty. We just use it for milk and bottled water really. Hate wasting food me! Our freezer is almost at bursting point mind.
Yeah, my wife isn't the sharpest tool in the box at times, take yesterday for example, I'm on a very high protein diet right now, I've got about 6 steaks in the fridge at home, a load of chicken, fish, loads of it... she had a day off, so she made my dinner... vegetable soup... ****ing winter food!
Haha yeah I can see where she's coming from in that it seems like a travesty paying so much for a few strips of melon but the reality is that it's still better than using only a small part of a whole one.
