    What is this?
    £ or €?
Looks like one months figure to me in £.

The first answer is consumers. The second answer depends on how reliant an economy is on the imports it receives and whether it can find cheaper sources elsewhere once tariffs etc are factored in. The third answer is dependant on whether goods subjected to tariffs can be manufactured more cheaply within the free trade area instead and so move to avoid the overheads.

Once you can answer those questions then you will know who is most affected by the removal of free trade access.

I wonder if Germany is happy with the mass influx they had last year?

You're ignoring the fact that this is not supposition, it's actual quotes from the CEO.

Exit poll done by German pollsters ARD in the recent Berlin elections.
55% said they saw refugees as enriching life on Germany. 32% said they were unhappy about so many refugees arriving.

I'm afraid it is impossible to say Germany is/isn't happy. Only that large numbers of immigrants has caused concern to a third of the population.

Pete assumes that all people are as anti-immigration as he is. That's how the mind of a bigot works.

Remoaners will be moaning non-stop even when the EU disintegrates. They will blame the UK for starting all the problems with the euro and mass immigration.

Is that a fact or just the opinion of a fat **** who's realising that he's not going to get what he thought he'd voted for?

You mean a country that has a population of 35million people ( California alone has 38mill) and about 100 mill bears, spread over almost 10 million square sq kms.?

Yep, that'll solve all our trade problems! <doh>

Has anyone said that? Or have they said that for the moment we are better off in the EU than out of it? That's the part of the argument people like you don't understand as you only view things in black and white (and preferably in only white).

Anyone interested should find the original paper it is based on.

    'Conclusion
In the broader context the Analysis is good news. Exports are not as heavily concentrated on a single traditional market as may have once been the case, and for most ACP countries the effect of the UK leaving the EU on EPAs will not be significant.'

Effectively there are three countries that will be severely impacted by UK no longer being part of the EU trade deal. Grenada, Jamaica and Guyana as their trade with the EU is almost exclusively with the UK.

Sounds like ****ing paradise - and it's one of the few countries in the developed world that still actively encourages people to move there. I might move there and trap beaver for a living; bit ****ing chilly in the winter though.
