Ristac's right, one of these days we'll score early, settle into it and play them off the park. Because we have left it late every game it seems too many snatched shots, shyte headers until it goes in. We have been putting more pressure on us than we needed to do.

 

This is another one of those 'season starts here' games....a good performance and a win here and we can actually start looking forward with optimism

Agree Elland, it's going to take a very good performance to beat Ipswich....

While Ipswich have been a bit of a bogey team for Leeds, so have Cardiff, untill we finally broke that curse.

Ipswich game is winnable, but does depend on Pontus being fit and Bridcutt able to put in 90 minutes, but more importantly, we need to up our performance by 2 gears. I'd say the Wednesday win was probably our best performance so far and from here on in, we're going to be continually tested at higher levels.

Either team can win this one, but for us it's going to be a tougher game to overcome compared to our previous games, we are going to be tested....

That's the standard of player we've had at ER for years. The quality of our signings is definitely improving. Some people have short memories about the shiite that's passed through ER.

Agreed, the previous three were must wins against lowly opposition defeats would have made us relegation favourite, now with some confidence, fitness and player understanding in the bag we need to push on with a real test against Ipswich

 

I'd forgot about him, echoes what we really have in Wood. A young striker who is scoring goals, only cost £3m and is far better than Varney, Hunt, Morrison, Paynter and the rest.
