I have faith in this side, I think we are going to run them close for the title. I think we will see things start to click into place. I really believe we are not far away.

 

Far too early to say. We've played well against the better teams but not Burnley. I want to see how we do against the poorer sides

Been a good competition with plenty of goals this season, it's not considered the most prestigious of trophy's but we're in it to win and I'm enjoying it so far. Spurs at home is a decent draw.

 

Its worth the same as fa cup and due to timing most big sides want to win it. As in chelsea and city. Reading the list of recent winners.. well..

Having europa slot in the bag early can really say lets go for the wins now in the league... but also in a less than professional set up see guys take the foot off the gas.

 

Not sure many players would survive until the following weekend if they did that in a Klopp side, he's skin them alive!

 

Spurs is a hard game, home or away..
However, with their CL commitments, they won't be playing their strongest side, were's I think ours will be on the stronger side..
Also, being at home, should give us the edge, still, I expect it to be a bloody tough game!

 

Go into Europa qualifier at an earlier round I think than fa cup though don't you?

 

Spurs would like to win a trophy just like anyone. They learnt their lesson last season playing a weak team in the Europa league aiming of winning
the league. Eventually they came third in two horse race competition.

Yeah, disrupts pre season. West Ham had to go into early qualifiers which are bang in middle of pre season for normal clubs and doesn't seem to have helped their start to the season.

 

You could send the canteen staff to play some of those early qualifying rounds.

FA Cup is more prestigious but in the LC there are no non league teams and there's an extra semifinal game(used to be a 2 legged 3rd round also), so all in all just as difficult to win down the years but since it was devalued(by Fergie and Wenger & others)it has struggled for recognition and needs two top teams to reach the final to give it some gloss and glamour.
