We opened them up time and time again in the first 30 mins. Should've been out of sight. And understandably so against a poor side. Shame we didn't have a CF to actually score the goals. Our players realised shortly afterwards that there was nobody actually in the final third and decided to have flashbacks of life under Van Gaal and started passing sideways. No surprise that our midfielders scored both goals with Rooney playing up front. How he stayed on the pitch for the whole game is truly beyond me.

Felliani is better than Poulsen was but I wouldn't want either anywhere my team so may as well be on par as far as I'm concerned.

Man Utd (Jose) need to grow a pair and drop some names. Rooney shouldn't be in the team. Push Pogba into the No.10 role Behind Zlatan. Play Carrick and Herrara in the holding roles...

    De Gea
    Valencia - Smalling - Bially - Shaw
    Carrick - Herrera
Henry Ryan - Pogba - Martial
    Zlatan

Only problem there is Zlatan and Pogba are both big men so may encourage the long ball.

    • WEST HAM v CHELSEA
    • MAN UTD v MAN CITY
    • ARSENAL v READING
    • LIVERPOOL v TOTTENHAM
    • BRISTOL CITY v HULL
    • LEEDS v NORWICH
    • NEWCASTLE v PRESTON
    • SOUTHAMPTON v SUNDERLAND
    Draw in full.

What I would highlight is that this tie will be bang in the middle of spurs busy fixtures and after internationals too.

They go to leverkusen, play Bournemouth away, the US, then Leicester then leverkusen again.

It's a home tie and they will have to play cl around this and they are must win games.

    Should get fun.

First two matches are tasty in terms of rivalry.

We're at home to Man Utd (17) and home to WBA (22) before playing Spurs at home too :)

The utd game is a Monday night game. Very odd that in terms of a class one match.

It's not a trip to Germany.

They are very interesting. The other side of the draw as it were is meh so there's going to be 3 big teams gone no matter what. After that the qf could be a bit light.

I think unless city go out I can't see us win this so... great draw to force city to pony up or get out... for us to win this I think we can beat utd or chelsea but not city generally, not under pep.

No offence, but I never understand this attitude. Of course we could lose, but why be defeated before you even start? There's not even any previous to go on.
If the team thought like this we would be screwed. It's a good job we're only fans because this mindset amongst the players would win nothing.
