Yes, I thought that tactically we were miles ahead of Palace. There were times when we invited them to attack us, only to be raided on the counter. Then there were times when we took the game to them. But at all times we never seemed to lose control. Quite nice football to watch from our point of view.
Well they did turn over a team with a mighty history at the weekend. Mind you much of that clubs history since 1958 has been one of abject misery, a fact that SB3 conveniently forgets when spouting success from a bygone era.
I don't think I've ever felt less concerned when 2-0 up as I did tonight. They were never, ever in the game.
I watch the stream using Chrome browser on my PC and send that via Chromecast to the TV (I'm assuming you know how Chromecast works; if not, I can give more detail). As I say, not HD but perfectly watchable. Vin
Five players in our team who are still eligible for England U-21's. And Clasie, who is eligible for Holland U-14's.
Yes, they are in a bit of a nasty pickle there. The players at Stoke are too good to be bad for too long though.
Also, if this is the level of performance that Cuco is going to turn in for us, I'd be giving him a new contract rather than letting him leave. Playing like a man with a real point to prove to his manager. Great stuff.
I thought I'd see how we stood on this and found: http://www.footcharts.co.uk/index.cfm?task=corr_shots (look at the graph rather than the numbers) We're below average but not terribly so. Vin EDIT: But this tells a worse tale: http://www.footcharts.co.uk/index.cfm?task=corr_attack
Don't really care about this competition but that's a good win and we put out the right sort of team.
Don't let facts get the way of a long held belief. I'm not bothered by other teams shots per goal. I want a 1 in 2 goals per shot. Perfectly reasonable.
