I wonder how Bellusci and Jansson would do as a CB pairing? One thing's for sure, strikers would have nowhere to hide ... Bellusci struggled with poor players around him, and he always tried to take on too much ... in the end he was worn down by a poor team and awful managers, and the fighter we once had was a wreck ... good luck to the lad, skilful player in the wrong setup at Leeds

Disagree, bellusci had some terrible mistakes in him, far more so than any other Leeds player I have seen. Made mistakes that I wouldn't expect an U10 player to make

Bellusci went because of what was in his head, not what he did on the field. He was poison in the dressing room.

Agree 100% with you there Josh & it wasn't just the mistakes, some things he just didn't look like he knew how to do properly like attack a header from behind the striker without fouling him or jockeying the opposition in a poor position like the corner flag without jumping in with a needless tackle. Not going down the I played a high standard route but I played Centre Half and was fecking brilliant <whistle> and this is just basics - can honestly say, he was just about my least favourite player of all time (although Gordon McQueen did break my heart when he left for Schum - especially as I had just persuaded my mum to let me have a GM haircut - god I look a tit on some of my youthful photo's!!)

You may be right Jock but he could have got away with being a cock if he were a better player imho

We let him go & kept Bamba, who was a bigger disaster area on the field than Bellusci, IMO. Also, Bellusci was clearly a Cellino favourite, and yet even Cellino realised he had to go for splitting the dressing room. FFS, even Evans struggled with him, and he normally deals with a cnut by being a bigger cnut - and he still failed to make him toe the line.
