The Tories might, too. That's what happens when something like this comes about.
With the Lib Dems in the **** too, you could get some very interesting alliances springing up.
A largely centrist party who policy grab a bunch of popular causes and find some popular politicians could clean up.

It could happen, the UK is a central leaning country anyway, so why not mix and match

Agree that a effective and credible opposition is essential - something the likes of Owen Smith, Angela Eagle, Luz Kendall, Andy Burnham or Yvette Cooper definitely wouldn't provide. Corbyn has forced the government to back down on a number of policies and shifted the debate to the left. Unlike Harriett Harman or Ed Milliband.

Personally I think if Corbyn if forced out by the right wing sections of the Labour Party, without a similar candidate replacinh him then it'll be the end of the Labour Party in the short to medium term. They'll lose any credibility the 'chicken coup' organisers have left it and the hundreds of thousands of members Corbyn has attracted to the Party will never vote for Labour again. Other parties will clean up these disaffected voters while the Labour Party will be left trying to sell Tory-Lite policies through a pro-Tory media who will just praise the Tories and disparage Labour. It's a strategy thats bound to fail - as it failed under Brown and Milliband.

I know we disagree on this, and always will do.

In my view, Corbyn and his retrograde Trotskyism light will never sell themselves to the UK public.

Fair enough we disagree. Though I should point out that he's not a Trotsky - no armed taking over of corporate resource and nationalising it for the countries benefit.

He's got absolutely no chance, for a variety of reasons.
The current press will kill him over everything and a bunch of his policies are toxic, as are a load of his past actions.
He's utterly naive and has zero presence.

Yep. It seems almost like he still lives in his 1970's utopian 'power to the people' world.

And, he has the personality of a dead fish!...

The EU haven't had many significant trade deals because they are too incompetent.

It's pretty obvious what "Brexit means Brexit" means. It means we are going to leave the EU whether the EU can get it's act together or not.

That's us buggered then if we want a bespoke trade deal with the EU.

Well, seeing as a majority of voters wanted to leave it was a good idea.

The majority of Germans voted for Hitler at one time. Bet you thought that was a good idea too!...

That wont happen. I don't know why you are even suggesting it.
The moderate Labour MPs are most likely going to leave and take the voters with them.
