Morning all. I wish that I could spend the rest of the week off work so that I can watch Middlesex v Yorkshire on Sky. The forecast for last night had rain in London. If it was in NW8 and with a 10.30 start, if James Franklin wins the toss he should choose to bowl first as I don't particularly want Plunkett, Bresnan and Sidebottom let loose on our top order in those conditions.
Spent the day at Lords and will be there tomorrow. Entertaining game so far with neither side dominating. Will be interesting to see how this develops tomorrow

No - if I understood W_Y correctly he left the board due to what he saw as hypocrisy and double standards. It is a shame he has carried that on to other media but it must represent how he feels. The politics thread is one you seem to have an especial dislike for Yorkie but in truth the issues that have caused recent friction on this board cover a number of threads and seems to involve personalities as much as opinions. For what it is worth I have ceased to post on anything other than the football threads and the Nest as the balance of opinions expressed now seem to be too one sided and W_Ys concerns seem to encompass even "safe" topics like fun on a Friday afternoon and Thoughts where the slant is clear. This board has lost a lot of posters and I regret to think that as the number shrinks the previous wide variety of opinion lessens.
