Excited for the game this evening as I am whenever I see Saints live. Don't know what team to expect from either side but fully behind the lads! Plus I need to keep this record in tact! COYR!

Ah but..............Winning two games on the trot hasn't exactly won us any medals though has it?..........so not exactly the excitement we want is it?............Hence why the posting dropped........We need a trauma to keep us happy it would seem............

Setting out from Dorset now. I quite like the League Cup games, and not just because they're cheap.

I have also reverted to 'old git' mode and packed some sarnies and a nice thermos of chicken soup. It must be a reaction to spending the last 4 days in pubs or cafes looking for free wi-fi while Openreach gaze vacantly at their belly buttons.

If we can get through tonight I quite fancy us to go a long way in the ELC this season, but then I do say that every year.

Seems as if there have been problems with ticketing, a change in the Rules to blame.

 

Live on TV in Dubai - only I am on the late flight out of Doha tonight - so will get home after full time Oh - how I have got that so wrong....

It would be good if something changed tonight. Our record against Crystal Palace in just cup games is appalling; 4 wins 2 draws and 8 defeats and at the moment it stands at 4 straight defeats of which three we were at home.

You'd have thought they were Manchester United!
