I know, shame we came up against one of Pep's best teams at the peak of its powers in the final.

It was a genuine question. That team had a real chance to be a serious force in Europe but only made one final which, from memory, was a bit of a lucky run.

Slightly, as the team was not invincible at all, but they really should have done better in Europe for the talent they had.

 

The Everton league winning side of '85, who also won the CWC that year and should have done the treble but got undone by United in the FA Cup final 3 days after lifting the Euro pot.
