Noone truly knew what either outcome would have meant but we obviously had a much better idea what a Remain vote would have meant than a Leave vote.

As we've not immediately cut all ties to Europe and looted and pillaged the houses of anyone without ten generations of Anglo-Saxon blood, a Leave vote hasn't resulted in what many Leave voters would have expected.

So is this you back until you flounce off again in an attention seeking tantrum?

When I say "back" I obviously mean back posting as you've been lurking like a cowardly tart ever since your last "that's it I'm off" thread! <laugh>

    What does your brother think?

I don't think that's true. Most of the people I know knew exactly why they thought that to remain was our best option at this time.

Many leave voters were exactly like the ones in Sunderland who took part in Bloomberg's interviews. They hadn't really got much of a clue what they were voting for, just that if Cameron was for it, they were against! And it "has to be better than what we've got now"

Most of them ignore the likelihood that 'remain' wasn't really an option, as had we voted in, the EU would have felt empowered to advance some of the measures, such as reinforcing the federal state.

Nothing changes. You sit behind a computer calling people names. Just about your limit really.

That sounds more like scare-mongering than a likely scenario.

    Back in the old routine!

So how long until you throw a strop and announce that the forum is **** and you're leaving yet again?

Out of interest, what do you hope to achieve when you do that? Is it just plain and simple attention seeking?

Does it? It's been their stated aim from conception, and the actions since then confirm it, even withholding some releases until after the referendum, such as the proposal for an EU Army.

I'm not saying it's not the intention of some. I just think it's still unlikely to happen even had we narrowly voted Remain over Leave. Nothing to stop them pressing ahead with a European army now anyway. Not sure why a European army would be such a terrible thing in any case.

Why do Pete and the Gang only ever cut and paste links from the Mail and Express? Are they really the only media/information sources they use? I genuinely didn't think grown men did that.
