Just got a call from my mate in Germany - apparently some bloke called Leeds Lover is seeking asylum there but he's refusing to live near the Woods.

    Morning from cold Harrogare.
A wins a win and " that crap striker" Chris Wood fluked another goal last night.
It's a shame that 30 yard screamers count for more than 1 yard miss hit tap ins! <doh>

Good news we are buying property in Spain / Canaries.
Bad news... Feck knows which one...
She is going back out next week and I will fly out if she finds something she wants.....
Not going to be buying a second place to rent the yields look great but rely on top rents and optimistic occupancy levels.
You could turn a profit on lower rents/occupancy rates ( more realistic) but not enough to risk plowing nearly all our cash into it.
It was fecking hot, glory be like :afro:

Something definitely afoot at #lufc. The club have settled (or at least registered settlement of) a Bates-era debt to Bank of Ireland.

Get beat by Ipswich and you wouldn't care about wifi.
    Have a great break.

Just had a quick look - as TC will point out, we have one outstanding mortgage to GFH but, this is what has been cleared within a few weeks - Bank of Ireland yesterday, Enterprise Insurance yesterday, Brendale Holdings & Berrydale Seventh Sport both on 9th September and Compass Contracts on 21st August, as you say, something definitely afoot!

smart move to stay clear of BTL for short term holiday lets glory. One thing if you do it for a living and really know your market, and things look more attractive with purchase prices where they've dropped to but spain in particular is way over supplied. Never looked at canaries, but looked at a bundle of other places over the years... had a place in canada for a while. You are wise to assume the rents and occupancy levels are optimistic! Even if you choose well and budget for all the costs, it's a lot of headache and a lot of risk in my view.

seriously, the Wood bashing needs to stop ... as Glory says, a 1 yard finish counts the same as a 30 yarder ... how many golfers look great on the tee but can't hole a 2 foot putt ... Shearer and Lineker have both said that the 6 yard box scrambles and tap ins were their most satisfying goals to score, because it meant they were doing their jobs as strikers ... our number 9 is scoring goals, and that's all that matters, long may it continue

Mowatt on the right and Roofe on the left made sense, because it allowed them to naturally drift infield onto their stronger sides, helping to commit defenders and allow space for overlapping full backs ... biggest problem is still the gap from back to front, but sure this will be fixed and team will push forward more as a unit as confidence grows

another positive result, bit of a Cup run going, all good, would like Northampton at home next round ... MOT
