I don't get this transfermarkt sh1t apparently our most vaulable player is Brady at 6.8m followed by Naismith at 5.2m. Klose is 4.6m & Howson 3.4m. what nonsense. This isn't a request for an explantion just an observation.
Considering they've been at the club since they were old enough to walk, they obviously have a deep affiliation with NCFC. But money, and unscrupulous agents talk very loudly indeed, hence my concern about the length of their current contract deals.
I posted it to highlight whose contracts expire next June. I didn't even look at any valuation nonsense.
Taking nothing away from your observations but I think anyone who knows a little about the game can see the difference already. Josh could easily go on to really big things, things Redders can only dream of. He is one of those rare players we develop that really are something special of which I can think of very few (Eadie, Bellamy, K O'Neil & Sutton)
I'm hoping they'll have seen how Darren Huckerby loved being at NCFC and went on to being a legend and would love to follow in his footsteps!!!! Spot on TC!!!
Don't get me wrong I think we should get both Murphy twins sign on longer deals, but the way the pundit was talking he was expecting a PL team to swoop in and buy him on the baises of that one goal.
Yes, some of those pundits ............................... Just seen this comment on the EDP website - "Actually saw the game live for a change with an Evertonian and was surprised at how well we played. It was almost like our first team. Considering Everton are 2nd in the PL and fielded a strong team we were superb. JR had a great game and Josh, Ollly and Pritchard were good. Bassong had a storming game. What a great night it was!" Is he talking about NCFC, or had he had a few too many down the pub before kick off????
The JM's have a better goal appetite than Redmond, but still have a way to go, but last seasons loans seem to have brought them on considerably. Tie them down with a long, realistic contract. Now.
You're kind of preaching to the converted on here, my friend - but I can let you have Jez Moxey's mobile number if you want to take it further?
Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but: The Canaries' victory is their first at Goodison Park since September 1993, when Efan Ekoku scored four times in a 5-1 win. From the brief BBC match report.
Rob explained it very well for example he says Leicester are interested in Brady ?. Times the 6.8m by 3 giving you 20.4 now this is his actual value if you either half or double it so he may be worth 40.8m or 10.2m after tax. Your welcome
Some comments from the National Press and looks as though we have a pretty decent 'reserve team!!!' - • The Times: “A lucky goal from Steven Naismith, the popular former Everton forward, was followed by a wonderful individual effort by Josh Murphy. Norwich’s victory was not a fluke.” • Daily Mail: “What was expected to be a routine task for Everton, riding high in the Premier League, turned out to be something completely unexpected thanks to goals from former favourite Steve Naismith and Josh Murphy. • Daily Mirror: “Naismith had not played a game since a proposed move to Sunderland collapsed on deadline day. You could hardly tell because he ran the show, cracking Everton just before the interval.” • Press Association: “But, with 16 minutes left, Murphy showed Everton how it should be done, picking the ball up wide on the right and beating two men before curling an unstoppable shot from 20 yards past the motionless Stekelenburg and in off the bar.” • Daily Telegraph: “If there was good fortune about Norwich’s first, the second was unstoppable as the youngster (Josh Murphy) cut inside and found the top corner from 20 yards.” Well, well - Saturday's team selection is going to be VERY interesting
"Well, well - Saturday's team selection is going to be VERY interesting" It is - a nice "headache" for AN to have. Almost a full deck to choose from and all showing positive form, attitude and hunger to get involved. OTBC.
Clear as mud, but as I remember Rob use a lot more word to basically say the same thing i.e. that the value is meaningless. Anyway lets not go there
Yeah no doubt it trying to fit everyone in we'll play half the team out of position and then wonder why things don't work out so well.
I would hope he names an unchanged side that beat Forest with Josh the first to come on later. Dorrans and Howson seemed to click and Martin looks better than expected.
Transfermarkt prices are only indicative as they are calculated by a computer based on their last selling price and age (thus potential). Brady's price is about what we paid for him, but his age means that he would go for more if sold. Naismith has gone down from what we paid because we overpaid in January by about £1-2m, IMO. Howson still reflects the price we paid for him and his age means that hasn't increased. Take the prices with a grain of salt.
