Fabregas has just scored twice in 3 minutes. Leicester defends looks shocking... and the keeper/drinkwater just had an absolute mare.

Keeper should have clattered that group out to claim it.. and Drinkwater should have headed out for a corner, not 6 yards out into middle of box to Fabregas who had no one without 5 yards of him

 

Watching some weird stream of Klopp after the game, I suppose you don't see this but he's doing the past match interview. He's on his 6th person asking pretty much the same question.

 

If I was manager i'd just mess around and give like completely contradictory answers to all of them despite it being the same question

 

Hopefully our rivals didn't notice him pulling all the strings

Yes, it was only Derby, but we played some lovely stuff, moved it round lovely, nice lovely movement off the ball.... lovely!
Matip continues to impress.
Grujic showed some nice touches and made himself available for the ball.
Front 3 linked up great, good to see!

Kept a clean sheet, Karius was decent enough with his feet, flapped at one that could have been punished, so that needs working on, other than that, didn't have much else to do.

Can looked rusty, no chance he starts against Hull, depending on how its going, he may get another 20min outing.

On to Hull, players will come back into the side that had a nice rest..

 

Origi's finish was quality. Remember him doing same thing v Saints in LC last year as well from similar position.

 

Now now kinder let's all be glad it was a nice genteel 3-0 and not 1-1 then ET and pens which probably would have gone on for half an hour and ended 17-16 in sudden death as has been the case in the past

nice for it to be straightforward for once, everybody done their feckin jobs, no drama

Other than at Burnley where we just made the wrong choices and fueled their determination it seems that a viable tactic against us is no longer **** back and soak it up, we have too much going forward and I'm confident that will score. I'm very happy with this.

 

I think it was a promising debut - one of his weaknesses is dealing with crosses so he'll need to improve if he's to excel in the PL.

Loved his arrogance on the ball and no doubt, he will be caught out at some point but it's good to see him playing out from the back.

The most noticeable thing about his performance was his starting position and how high up he was. The tackle on Bent was brilliant and very un-Mignolet.

I'd say let him keep his place against hull and let him get used to the PL now.

 

There were no standout performances but Coutinho and Firmino were levels above everyone else.

Good to see Origi score and I hope he can build on it like he did last season. His decision making was really poor though.

Job well done - 3-0, clean sheet, giving mins to Karius, Can, Grujic and Ings.

 

Can was trying too hard which isn't a bad thing as it shows how desperate he is to do well but along with the lack of mins it was a bad combination.

 

Grujic did about as much as he did in pre season. He is a long way off our first 11

 

Mane was missing for the Burnley gave too

 

Yeah he was bolloxed by the end. He needs a month more.

 

His passing was awful and I felt that with ecery missed pass his frustration grew as he wanted to impress. He'll be fine given time.

 

Yeah i think at this point he is week 1 preseason and looked ****ed after less than a half so he needs that 3/4 weeks training.

It does however bring up the question.... if can is like this and just an option to come in why was sakho not along.... but thats a different story even if klopp is deflecting questions by saying he needs fitness.

 

Got to say, it's clear Klopp's preseason has had an effect on our squad.. We were relentless in our pressing last night right up until the final whistle. Also, can't fault our ball retention either.. Two massive improvements already this season. Roll on Hull.

 

Because the other 10 aren't up to speed yet. They'll get there by the end of the season #strongfinish
