So the original 'this will not change' allocation of 5000 (http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...nternazionale-southampton-europa-3293043.aspx) meant that a bit of panic ensued and people resorted to using other supporter's season tickets in order to get themselves a ticket, and then they go and whack the allocation up by almost 4000...!!

Yeh, they're really going to have fun trying to tell all those that used other tickets during the initial allocation that they can't get in the ground, even though pretty much every man and his dog* will now be able to get a ticket...!!

*Edit: apart from FLT of course <doh> :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Having resigned ourselves to not being able to get an Inter away ticket my Dad has gone and made other plans. So, with more tickets available in the morning I have no travel partner, no hotel and no flights (or even train).

Still, worry about that later yeah? It's Inter away for crying out loud!

I'm in a simlilar position. Do I buy my ticket in the morning n hope that I can sort flights etc. out (Im also due to start work at 10am the next day!) And do it all on my own?

If i wait then tickets will bound to be gone... but I dont want to waste a ticket.... ahhh decisions decisions!!

Absolutely. Looking online now and flights to the nearest airport are fairly pricey. Then there's the hotel etc. Oh man, what to do?

I'm the only one in my family who qualifies so unless it goes to general sale I'll be going on my own/pairing up with friends once tickets have been bought. Although with 8000 saints fans I don't imagine you will be lonely

Think it might be a TV watch for me. Don't want to get a ticket then not be able to go and effectively stop another Saints fan from making it out there. Flights from Stansted (nearest airport that flies direct from where I live) are over a grand return. Not going to happen sadly.

BT Sport it is then :)

No way are they over a grand return surely. I booked earlier for £80 return. Though, that is coming back on Friday.

On another note I assume these new tickets are the middle tier? I'd be pissed off if I was in the first window and now members have better seats <laugh>

Also must give great credit to Saints for this, clearly have had to fight damn hard to secure these and it wouldn't suprise me if we were paying the extra security costs either.

    Well done Saints <applause>

I really hope there are no issues having used my parents season tickets (then putting my name and passport details) as I could have just waited and just put this on my membership... Hindsight eh.

Was for a Thurs am flight, Fri return. To Linate airport. Now there are none showing for that.
Flights are now coming up at £110 - £150 to go to Bergamo. No idea how close that actually is to the city centre though.

    These are from Stansted.

Was gonna say it should be cheaper to fly from there than from Southampton. I might explore that option.
