Memorable that's all. People remember the advert and company name and that's job done.

    Is it though?
The only reason I posted the name was because I'd seen the ad moments before - otherwise I wouldn't have remembered which of the companies it represented.
I fully understand the principle of product awareness, but there's also the factor of attaching negative or positive feelings to that product. Some of us will attach a hatred of the ad to the product itself and will then be even less likely to use it.

But we'll talk about the ad to others and put that as into their minds and potentially when they start looking for insurance subconsciously will think of the ad and that company

i always go compare he market because of the meerkat so.... <whistle>

In answer to original question... no.

I think they are stupid and have mw completely anti that company and i will never use them.

They got some feedback at some point like this when they did a slightly... and i mean slightly more manly ad with the security guard but then they went back to the stupid ads.

I can only conclude they had already lost the men and as a result decided that the gay and female customers like seeing fat and bald ponces

As i said that company will never see a penny off me.

And for the rest.... well half of the replys seem wind ups.

The meerkat can at least be played on kids tv. I object to the content of the ads honestly.

It started out as a means to link thier catch phrase of felling epic but from some original positive feedback or sales thry have descended into a gayfest orgy which has nothing to do with the original ad.

Its no longer in any way linked to a scrap of originality or linked to felling epic. Its just carrying on being in some executives mind an ever bigger ever bolder campaign.

In short given there is no fat lesbian in dungarees gyrating i think men should be able to object calling it sexist but of course heaven forbid we do as the fat lesbians will cry foul and call us misogynistic pigs for daring to suggest it works bith ways.

Oh and i hope the men are getting well paid for their stupid dancing cos they are unemployablr for a real acting job imo

Game of thones casting..Oh where have i deen you before..

Bald ponce in heels on monetspuermarket.

    We will call you....

A lot of adverts are annoying, I'm aware of the thoughts regarding this negative advertising but I don't think it works at all. If something annoys me I will make a point of not buying it or using the service.

They do need to look at that as most people watch recordings and fly through the ads.

They have had succes with it, they must have because they carried it on

There was that Karl Pilkington bloke in the high heels who did a couple, then there was the builder then it was the builders V's Karl Pilkington and his gang

Im not fussed by them actually, not as bad as some of the others imo. Them furniture warehouse ones are shocking - at least there is some dancing in the Money Supermarket one

I don't remember which is which.
I'm generally immune to advertising and the only reason I brought up the other one was because I'd witnessed it seconds before. As I said, product awareness is the fundamental point of advertising, but I don't think I've ever been persuaded to buy something because of liking an ad.

Anyway, there being "dancing in it" is hardly a redemptive factor in my book. :)
