Yep, we'll have to wait and see. At least we have options now.

@Jimmy Squarefoot I'm taking the interview the opposite way, Klopp is telling him he should have gone on loan to get match fit.

Our line up tonight in the game where we mashed some Spuds 6 -2

Liverpool U23s: Grabara, Alexander-Arnold, Maguire, Ilori, Whelan, Stewart, Wilson, Virtue, Gomes, Brannagan, Woodburn

Subs: Firth, Brewitt, Juanma, Phillips, Lennon

So some names not there, Im expecting a run out for 3 or 4 who will be keen to impress

Alex-Arnold won't be paying against Derby then. Couple of others they might have been considered too

No Ings on that teamsheet - so we can expect him to play.

I think we'll make a lot of changes but it'll still be first team players.

    Karius
    Gomez - Ragner - Lucas - Moreno
    ? - Can - Grujic
    Ings - Origi - ?

    Not many gaps left

Edit: i would have said Sakho at LCB with Lucas in midfield but Klopp's comments suggest Sakho isn't playing

Can't see Gomez or Sakho playing - think I read that Gomez is targeting a return to full training in October. Can't wait to see the lad return, I just hope he hasn't lost a lot (either technically or physically).

I think hes got a chance.

Ings will not. Klopp says he is not ready.

Interesting comments on gk too. Karius looks ironed on but no clue if mingolet starts next game or him from klopp.

Klopp follos the german model. You will see an injury for x time followed by an long period of training.

We have seen it with sturridge, now ings, can and sakho.

It seem an old school or english thing to get a medical all clear then we go push a player onto a pitch. I think of torres and gerrard and a few others we broke doing this. Van gaal was a player breaker, benitez and houllier too.

Kloop seems to have gotten sturridge fitter. Maybe long term he is just right about this stuff

Klopp has a degree in sports science i think so he's a bit more clued on in that respect.

But it's credit to him for having the bollocks to not being forced to play his best players for short term gains. Rodgers was desperate to play Sturridge whenever possible and it cost us.

It has certainly been a good start for Klopp, he seems very clever and a man that has taken on the mantle of Liverpool manger with a calm mind and a solid way forward. We still need to be patient but I have every faith that he is taking us in the right direction.
I'm enjoying watching us play again and that's a huge step forward. Rodgers had taken the Liverpool out of us but we're back now and looking dangerous.
