I think our work ethic both with and without the ball has been much better this season. I'm surprised at how far down the list we are.

 

The Arsenal game must have had us running around less, there was no pressing till the edge of our penalty area. It was like it was to conserve energy so we wouldn't be knackered by the end. But with some you don't want them having unchallenged possession, because not all teams are going to be crap up front all game.

 

Maybe it's because we're now a passing team? If you keep the ball & make a lot of passes you don't have to run around as much?

 

Me also, though we don't have Greesy in the side, he moves up and down his area more than some outfield players apparently.

Mason and Henrikson may run around more. Livermore and Clucas being deeper now probably don't run around as much as before.
