Was unreal on a FM quite a while back, he's obviously not up to Barcelona's standards but he must have something about him if they were willing to pay 9 million for him.

 

If we do get him it'd be on one of those deals where they have the first option to buy back, like they have with that DM that Chelsea bought, so it wouldn't be a long term thing. Still wouldn't mind getting a striker in, he's got to be better than Carew or Carlton!

barca have got their heads screwed on and don't want a repeat of the Fabregas situation but it seems like nothing more than a glorified 2 yr loan to me then again wouldn't be surprised if it became the norm in football

 

Four goals in 13 appearances doesn't sound all that good and he never got to play in the Barca team so in my opinion we should look elsewhere, plus I've never heard of him.

 

If were buying player that were good on FM and the old CM maybe next we can get Mark Collis and Ferrah Orosco

 

His career stats (caveat: according to wiki!) look reasonable - 101 in 208 .. not sure at what level, most of those in Brazil when he was aged between 16 - 19 (89 in 158).. guess he has an eye for goal .. but other than that I'd have to defer to the FM gurus

obviously he must have talent to be at barcelona and for them to pay 9mil but he has failed to even make one appearence?? injuries or just not good enough? maybe a loan with option to buy would be my prefered deal if he is to come.

 

His goal ratio that season may not have been great but to not be able to get into the Barca team doesn't make him a bad player if you get what im saying.

Oh I agree especially with the first team that Barca have. It's more that I don't think we should be taking risks on unknown players from abroad as we have had bad experiences in the past with the same situation. Although thinking about it I could say the same for Tiote and look how that turned out.
