Thankfully we were not winning in this game today. Todays game was abandoned though due to the pitch being waterlogged. The game with you got abandoned due to lightning. There was lots of lightning today and guess what.... the ref carried on with the game.

I'm using the same game thread from the original fixture no point in starting a new one. :emoticon-0148-yes:

The poll is obviously closed so just post your predictions instead. :emoticon-0148-yes:

DC needs to start Colkett all this bringing him in slowly is BS he's older then Tammy Abraham who starts every game for City.

    I'm going for a 1-0 Gas win.

I would stick with the 4-4-2 but would make two changes I would drop Harrison for Gaffers as for me he's more of an impact sub IMO. Boateng has been quiet in the last two games so I would drop him for the Colkett. The defence seemed solid yesterday (at long last) so I wouldn't make any changes there.

Rovers to win. DC will make the players give everything in this game as we were not up to scratch in the 1st game. Plus he thinks it is disgusting of Swindon to treat our club like they have regarding the ticket fiasco.

I think DC has to start Colkett. If we stick with 442, we cant keep Sinclair and Boateng together as we lose our creativeness. 1 needs to be dropped for Lines or Colkett and I would live to see what Colkett can do from the start. But I would prefer a 4312 formation. Leadbitter and Brown get forward a lot anyway down the wings so we dont really lose our wing play. But we would have more support in the middle defending and attacking wise. It would mean dropping Moore and Bodin but I would try it. Both Lines and Colkett could come in to a 4312 formation. And personally I think Harrison and Taylor are doing well together. Maybe Easter could come in for Harrison but I would be happy for Harrison to keep his place. But I wouldnt start Gaffney who looks a shadow of himself in league 1.

    I would go with this....

Or maybe put Colkett where Lines is and put Easter where Colkett is. What do you think?

Wouldn't drop Harrison, would love to see Colkett given the nod from the start. if he is going to play 4-3-1-2 would like to see a middle 3 Lines Boateng Colkett, with Luke James playing behind Taylor and Harrison

Yeah agree Sinclair and Boateng is a miss match in midfield I would drop Boateng he's been quiet in the last two games after an outstanding debut. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Agree with most of your post except for Harrison he's just a player I've never rated :emoticon-0148-yes: IMO I still think we need another striker a real target man :D I wonder if Chelsea got anyone:D

    In the Post...

Bristol Rovers Darrell Clarke has reiterated his views on Swindon Town's decision to charge supporters full price for a rearranged match between the two sides and says that if he was a supporter he would boycott the game on a point of principle.

Rovers will travel to the County Ground for the rescheduled match on Tuesday night after the initial game was abandoned at 0-0 just short of the hour mark due to a flash storm that waterlogged the pitch on August 27.

Swindon advised supporters over their public address system to keep hold of their ticket stubs, but announced only a matter of days later that they would be charging the majority of fans full price if they wanted to return for the re-arranged game.

The club attempted to justify their decision by citing the high cost of policing for a game between two regional rivals but went on to rub further salt into the wound when a later announcement confirmed that the Stratton Bank end of the ground would not be opened for the fixture. That decision left the majority of Rovers supporters, who had paid £19 to stand in the uncovered stand, having to contemplate parting with an additional £6 to attend the rearranged fixture.

Clarke said: "I've made my views crystal clear on the price of the tickets for not just our supporters, but theirs as well. That is their prerogative as a football club and they live and die by their decisions as I do as a manager. The way I see it is that if I was a Bristol Rovers supporter I wouldn't be going to the game on a point of principle. We took 2,800 fans there last time and as far as I am aware we have sold 300 this time. Our fans aren't mugs and the proof will be in the pudding. Our supporters pay hard-earned money to come and support us and we are always appreciative of that. We'd like fans to be there to get behind us but I fully understand their point of view and am not surprised that we have only sold 300 tickets or so."

Harrison and Taylor are the best combination up front. I would still use Colkett as an impact player for a couple more games, but give him thirty or forty minutes instead.
