Is this really a step to far? What if a black person was on the doors at say a Chubby Brown gig? Its ok for black to call black. Black to call White. But heavens forbid. Anyone who knows any black people, know that most would not give a ****e about this (obviously not all). Im using the Gazza case as a world gone mad. Or am i wrong in my thinking? Former England football star Paul Gascoigne has pleaded guilty to a racially aggravated offence. The 49-year-old admitted using "threatening or abusive words or behaviour" during An Evening With Gazza show in Wolverhampton. Dudley Magistrates' Court was told that Gascoigne humiliated a black security guard working at the show, asking him: "Can you smile please, because I can't see you?" Sky News correspondent Tom Parmenter said: "The security guard was standing in a dimly lit area of the stage.
It say's what he's admitted to. I presume that's the charge. Not really up to date on what the official charges are called tbh.
I don`t think the press will ever allow him any peace mate. They expect him to do and say daft things and he consistently obliges. I don`t think he`s nasty or malicious. He`s just thick.
If Gazza had knew the bloke it may have been different, but this day and age he really should have known better..
Old joke, not funny, offensive to some, he's realised it was a stupid thing to say. Time to move on. The world's changing. People need to change with it or look like they come from the land that time forgot.
Think you need to take each case on it's own merit. Don't think what you said their applies in this case but would in many.
What did the bouncer give Gazza racial abuse? Otherwise it's not a two way thing. Racial abuse is racial abuse regardless of which race abusing which race.
Do i believe Gazza is totally against black people? Nope not a chance. It was a quip, an old fashioned probably outdated quip. Nothing more. But we get Black lives matter rammed down our throats. Fundamentalists protesting on streets buring the Union flag, chanting death threats. Im stopping there.
If the bouncer had called Gazza snowdrop, it would never had made the news. Nor would he have played the racist card im guessing.
I don't think he's got anything against black people. But he's admitted it and his security guard did nowt, in fact he carried on working. Don't see how it links to those other things in any way shape or form. Which is why I take each case on it's own merit. BLM is ****ing joke of an organisation imo, but nowt to do with Gazza being so stupid. Gazza has nobody to blame but himself.
