So who the **** would you have? FFS, you were always, always backing SB, & I always, near as damn it, agreed with you. But recently since MP has been in charge you've been the biggest moaner about everything MP has done. You're turning into Hat on so many levels but twice as ****ing annoying!
no Im going to point out he's a ****ing clueless rabbit in the headlights ****. You dont like it dont ****ing read it.
No one else wants to come and work for the Allams. If they did Phelan would never have got a chance in the first place. They're penny pinching again and that means we can't be fussy about the manager.
Yep it's me being really nasty to those Allams again. Phelan wants the job, he's been offered it but not accepted. Sources close to him say he's been offered a Championship wage. I've heard it described as 'insultingly low'. Who do you think is to blame? Surely you're not going to say Pearson too?
You're off again on your usual pro-Allam drivell!! Give it a rest! Seriously, have you ever made a post that wasn't complaining about someone who doesn't lick the Allam's arses?
He's been put down a lot recently, deservedly, by many of the better posters, and he's decided to adopt an alter ego. For some unfathomable reason, he's chosen to attempt to emulate the lop-sided Hat. He's just as bad at it as the real Hat is. Oh well, it takes all types.
You surprise me Chazz. Who else would you have? What has Phelan done to irk you? The players all want him, speaks volumes to me. Are you not content with the 7 points we've taken considering we have had a pretty tough start? Regardless of how much experience he has, or hasn't got. He's still at present doing a much better job than more experienced managers with arguably far better resources.
We are better off at present than teams managed by: Hughes Moyes Bilic Howe Dyche Guidolin Puel Karanka We are level on points with teams managed by: Ranieri Pulis Mazzarri Pardew Given the expenditure on new players by some of those clubs, we are in my opinion doing much better than we could ever have expected. The man responsible for that is Mike Phelan. I don't think he deserves any criticism at the moment.
More to the point despite who we would want .. a succession of managers were linked approached and subsequently chose not to come here for varying reasons .. Phelan has held the reins under difficult circumstances.. and has managed to get us off to a decent start .. he does seem to have the dressing room firmly behind him .. for me it's a no brainer.. given that it seems no one else wanted it !
HULL City remain without a permanent manager as we edge closer to the second international break of the season. Given the the job done by caretaker boss Mike Phelan that's something of an incredible statement. It's not just the seven Premier League points earned, it's the circumstances in which those points came by against a backdrop of uncertainly, upheaval and injuries which could have broken the club. Now, with the start of another new week there is again fresh optimism a deal can be agreed for Phelan to take over on a full-time basis with a long contract. With City away at Stoke City in the next round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening and then travelling to Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday, the window to conclude talks this week isn't that great. However, further talks are planned and Phelan is confident a deal will be done this week. So, could we even hear confirmation today? Elsewhere the takeover talks also continue and we'll hopefully have the very latest on those talks during the day. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...tory-29729205-detail/story.html#ixzz4Kgvbq7Co
