We looked solid and resolute that first half. Like the look of NDong. Lets hope we don't have a second half like we did against Everton

Holy crap that was some storm to ride. Came into the game though, Piennar should have broke the net. I like the look of Ndong. Looks tidy and he's pressing space higher up the pitch and it's helping.

So far so good, we have looked up for it, another 45 mins to hold out, shame it was Pienaar and not Defoe on that chance.

I truly can't stand Niall Quinn any more. Seems to dislike us now for some reason.

Good effort so far here, but its been looking like only a matter of time until they break through. N'dongs looked quite good when he's been able to get on the ball and get going forward. But our tactic of lump it upfield and hope defoe pulls something out of his arse tactic is putting us under a lot of pressure as its just giving them it back 95% of the time.

Agree with all the comments about Ndong btw, looks a good player. Looks athletic and gets round the pitch well and can pass a ball.

Need a good 10-15 mins to start this half.

Must admit I was expecting our net to bulge a few times there. Did well to weather that lot I thought.

Going to give their keeper credit for a point blank reflex save but Pienaar should have given him no chance really from that range.

Impressed with Ndong. Looks very useful.

Totally agree mate but we need the full backs and midfielders to show for the ball and give them some options as well.

We've barely played any football in this game and we deserve to be behind.

Second time Papy has kicked the air this game... got away with the first one, you don't get lucky twice at this level.

Not sure what Papy could do. It hits him in the chest spinning . He could've stuck his arm out I suppose but what else?

Watmore for Pienaar. Not sure that's going to help when we can't retain the football.
