I don't really care what's happened, he should be on the bench at least. The only explanation I'd accept is injury which it doesn't look like.
What's Moyes playing at dropping PVA just before kick off and then leaving Denayer to tell him. PVA was fine in the warm up by all accounts. We haven't had a kick and we're almost 20 mins in.
we've replaced him in the squad which suggests injury. I think, from what they're saying on sky, you're only permitted to change the starting line up in case of injury. May not look like injury but we've replaced him in the squad with love. Not exactly sure if the rules but how many times have you seen players say "I'm not injured" then limp off after 15 minutes?
I've never seen this situation before. What information could Moyes have received during the warm up that he didn't already know? I imagine we said it was an injury in order to be allowed to make the change.
