We would never had Ash wanting to leave or Bony and Allen not wanting to join if we were a good prospect. Players talk to one another and they know much more than any fan and it's plain to see that even money could not tempt players who know the club to stay or to join. I dont Believe the players are happy about something and what that is is something we dont know about because it is not just effecting the first team players it is effecting every team in the system as none of them are performing to the standard they were ......Why would Ash want to leave after saying he wanted to end his career with us and why would one of our best players say he was very happy to stay and then do a side ways move to west ham......Maybe its a Welsh club thing as we are all having a bad season and all of us are looking like relegation candidates
next 4 games will be interesting, some on here may well be eating large portions of humble pie....................
Yes I really do think he would have. Ayew didn't want to stay and in my opinion we got a good deal on him. But that's history now.

Posters on here reckon we should look at what's available in lower divisions to see if we can recruit a nugget e.g. Vardy. When we do, some make silly comments like ,preparing for the championship.
The mentality of some on this forum makes me laugh The minute things went wrong under Laudrup, and it wasn't ALL his fault, the knives were removed from their scabbards. Knife wounds were found in his back and chest. Laudrup was duly, and scandalously, sacked by text. The call went out. "We want Monk". Insults rained on Laudrup, ad nauseum, and then they got their wish. King Gary it was then, until things went pear shaped, and he began to get 'the treatment',followed by the sack. So. now it's Guidolins' turn. Doubtless he will be gone soon. But then who? What quality, self respecting Manager, would want to be subjected to such abhorrent behaviour? I know I wouldn't. Michu cost just £2,000,000.00, so the nuggets are out there.
Why is it a silly comment? Do you think we should be signing a striker from the championship? Come on, we've signed championship level quality except the strikes and it's showing. We need some top flight quality signings or we will be going down.
3 years ago yesterday we beat Valencia away 3-0, I have just watched the highlights, how far away we are from that now is incredible, I know we must move on but I was hoping it would be for the better not to fall away from that standard by miles and yes for me the best year for watching was Laudrups first season.
