Jak comes across as a lovely bloke and i like him. If we hadnt signed Marshall i'd be happy for him to carry on. As it is all logic says we've signed a better keeper. If we dont play Marshall why the **** are we wasting 5 million on a sub GK when we needed strengthening other places??
Probably so that if/when Jak has a dip in form - because he's playing the football of his career at the moment - we might want a good option to replace him as we clearly don't rate Kuciak at all.
True enough, if Marshall does well in the Cup then he will probably come in next Saturday. Marshall hasn't been brought into the club to be a sub, but he's got to earn his place and when a keeper saves a penalty and several other shots, he really does deserve to keep his place.
Had it only been 2 goals I would probably agree with you, but I think it was good to keep him in after the start to the season he's had, but, the first goal he really should have had it round the post, the second he came out for no reason, the 4th, absolute belter. Defence should have come out quicker, should he have had it covered anyway? Maybe I'm being harsh with that one.
Yes, people aren't talking about the first goal so much but Jak shouldn't have put it forwards like that. Drop him. No sentiment.
Would you have preferred he let it in instead? Why wasn't the ball cleared in the first place? We really struggled to break out yesterday, every clearance went about ten yards.
