Fair enough, I just feel like he's looked busy without really doing anything. Should've squared to Long first half, his shooting has been poor and his hold up has been poor. I really rate the kid, and think he's done well in other games but imo this hasn't been his best performance.

 

Cuco's our new number 10.

 

I'm in the camp that doesn't think Redmond has played well and so far I'm not really sure while Puel is so keen on him. I suppose he feels he needs as much time as possible to adapt to this new position.

 

Puel had Cuco or Isgrove... So pretty easy choice...

 

I don't think he's been brilliant but been a big part of our lot of our good build up play imo. Great ball to Austin when he hit the bar.

 

Reed probably would have made sense given the circumstances, but he doesn't have much experience with the formation given that the kiddies don't seem to be using it.

If Swansea take anything from this game it'll be the least deserved points anyones got at St Mary's since Cardiff beat us a few seasons back.

 

Meh. He's had two chances inside the box that he's blazed miles over, one of which he should possibly have crossed to Long and I can remember a few other times he's made poor decisions - taking on an extra player, shooting from miles out when he should have passed. Fair point on the pass though. He just doesn't seem to be "right" somehow. I think he'd probably play better if he was used out wide so I wonder if he's too keen to score goals and justify playing as a striker?

 

That was my first visit to a home match for 50 years. Didn't go down well with bloke beside me. Told me to go forth and multiply for another 50 years. Harsh!

 

We really are just sitting back and soaking up pressure; defend mode!
