Chris Young's Replacement at the Echo

I'm not going to turn a deaf ear to what somebody has told me. What about all the sexual abuse cases from years gone by that have been dragged up? Should society have turned a blind eye and deaf ear to them?

I have never ever heard of child abuse taking place inside a football stadium before. I'm not playing in to anybodies hands, this isn't about us or them, it's about bringing to light a child abuse scandal.

I don't doubt for a second it's happened in Roker Park, my dad told me it happened their, not only that it was happening everywhere. Other football grounds, rugby grounds and cricket grounds all over the country too. Everywhere, as the staggering amount of historical cases prove it was. So why so shocked at Roker Park? Did you really think some magic protective halo was protecting the children who supported Sunderland?

It's been brought up that it happened at Roker Park. If somebody else come forward saying they witnessed it first hand at another ground then I would be equally disgusted. They haven't though.

Your argument of 'well it happened everywhere else' is weak as ****, fella. I'm disappointed you think like that, it seems that the pride of Sunderland Football Club is more important to you, than the potential victims of child abuse that we could reach out too.

This is starting to sound like Relics Roker Park in the 50's/60's.

All sounds a bit far fetched to me. I don't think it was quite as rife as some are making out but that's likely just my hoping it wasn't rather than based on much.

 

It was rife in the sense that Authorities did prioritise it so they could virtually act freely. I've not condoned it, I just don't get the revelation his having. Next he'll find out Jimmy Saville touched kids He's got the wrong end of the stick and offered me out. I'm calling his bluff.
