A disappointing result but some positives - Clucas was excellent throughout and Mbokani definitely looked useful.

    1. Clucas, worked hard, passed well & broke up lots of Arsenal possession.
    2. Snodge, everything good going forward went through him. Another goal as well!
    3. Jak, despite conceding 4, I thought he saved us from a heavier defeat. He should have done better with Walcott's goal, I think we might see Marshall in next week, depending on how he plays in the cup in midweek. Jak was my MOM until the last 2 went in.

It is hard to say who stood out when City were outclassed like that. Jak stood out until Walcott scored, but that was Jak's fault for leaving his line to get to a ball he couldn't reach. Should have left it and the angle would have been very tight with the goalie on his line. The fourth goal was pretty much like the long shot scored by Man U. ... again, Jak's mistake I'd say, so Jak is not my MoM.

Man of the Match? Davies or Snoddy.

Thought Clucas was superb today. No complaints with the result as Arsenal were a class above, but if you look up 'clown shoe mong' in the dictionary, there's a picture of Roger East.

Clucas all day long for top spot
    Snodgrass an easy second
Robertson had a poor first half but kept driving at them and giving them things to think about. His crosses were about a million times better than Elmo so he gets third spot.

No pressing till they reaching our penalty area, but I blame the tactics than the players. Looks like we'll be parking the bus in these kind of games and hoping, but unless the opposition is off-form we won't get points. In the penalty area scrambles that happen you need luck.

Game destroyed as a contest by abominable refereeing....Livermore red should be overturned on appeal (Jak had it covered) and Cazorla should have been off for two yellows early in second half. However..

Clucas...best player on the field. Brilliant distribution, strong defensively.
Snodgrass...never gave up. Could have tied it up on Meyler FK on edge of their box, which East ignored.
Jakupovic...blameless on the goals and great saves to keep us in it.

I thought Elmo had a really poor game today, cumbersome at times. He got in terrific crossing positions and made poor decisions on every occaission.

    The referee - appalling.

In addition to my post I thought Clucas was absolutely outstanding today. His distribution of the ball was absolutely superb and his tracking back and tackling to be applauded. He was exceptional - Well done Sam.
