My heart bleeds at West Ham losing again. I'd almost accept us drawing again tomorrow, in exchange for beating them next weekend. How sweet five defeats from six games would be for them (plus losing in the EL qualifiers).
Howard Webb "Goodison Park is the hardest place to referee in the Premier League". I thought crowds didn't influence referees though?
My Everton-supporting friend in work put Stek in his fantasy football team last week. I told him not to but he didn't listen, so serves him right
Wonder if they will have got a grip of their whole stewarding/segregation thing when we go there. If there is more trouble then I think there will be threats of stand closure etc from the PL and police.
Stats from the West Brom v West Ham game make interesting reading. Possession WBA 29%. WHU 71% Shots WBA 8 WHU 23 Score WBA 4 WHU 2. What do stats prove?
They prove that this season has some truly bizarre stats! 4-2 with those is incredible. Brom be clinical!
Spurs West brom Stoke Sunderland Middlesborough With Norwich, Bournemouth and Palace in their next three games
Everton fans geniuinely believing it will be between them and City for the title don't they know Ron doesn't do Christmas?
We had a nice run of opening fixtures in Poch's final season for us, if I recall (I think it was that year?). Ultimately proved a false down once the big boys came along, not helped by Boruc trying to dance his way out of the Arsenal penalty box. On the other hand, Leicester managed to take the confidence gained from winning their nice of run opening fixtures last season all the through. Which way Everton will go, time will tell.
Man city look damn good. Sterling actually looking a great player, unlike Sterling for England who gives the ball away every time he gets it. Apart from his goal where he almost didn't score from 2 yards - open goal.
