Well it was only 3 changes, but Perez isn't a left winger, Gayle can't play on his own up front and DIame at the moment is a shadow of the player he was last year. I don't really get the line up. We built a decent Championship squad with 2 per position, but then stick Perez out of position? We have Lazaar, Gouffran and (injured) Aarons as specialist Left Wing, but he plays Perez? It makes no sense I'm afraid. We were over exposed on the left far too often and then, weirdly, played wide and slung crosses in with Gayle up top? Just bad day at the office. Only silver lining here is surely we're going to advance in the cup?
They're saying never a red card; officiating not great, but it did sound like Ritchie should have gone anyway. How do you play this badly? I mean, Wolves are crap, make no mistake. This is really an absolute baffler. Forget the 0-6 result, that was 6 wins on the bounce yet we've just produced a performance that even Schteve would be upset by.
Raf's after match interview will be interesting. His team have been pathetic in front of thie seasons biggest crowd in the Championship.
Sounds like more than just a bad day at the office...that said..at least Rafa will analyze it and address the problems If the same thing happened last season ... Mclaren would just carry on with the vague hope that it would sort itself out
No redeeming feature to that performance. Poor from everyone involved. Every player seemed to lack heart and effort, which is baffling. For all the post QPR talk of not letting things go to their heads and keeping grounded, it certainly looks as though they thought they could simply turn up to get a result today.
In a weird way might prove a blessing in disguise ... a sharp reminder we aren't just going to walk the league just by turning up that and I have to keep predicting draws till the end of the season and Not(Bigi) cant spend ANY time staring at rather pleasant arses in the sun either. #lessonslearnt
From the sound of it we totally got what we deserved. Also sounded like fredor would have a point about the discipline this week (even a stopped clock is right twice a day)
